I've been grumpy today, for no particular reason. Well, aside from the notice I got that the DVD I ordered yesterday at 10 am that the eBay auction stated the seller had over 800 of right at that time...is on backorder. If I don't get a message that its shipped in the next few days I'm going to demand my money back so I can buy one from someone honest enough to actually update their dutch auction properly. Sure, its the 30th anniversary edition of The Wiz and a really bad time to be trying to buy anything associated with Michael Jackson...but I seriously doubt that 800+ other people suddenly ALL decided to buy from them AT THAT EXACT SECOND AFTER WAITING FOR THREE DAYS. Grump.

Finally got my storage bill paid, and got a PO Box address to send further payments to since catching the guy at his gas station has been hit or miss. Met, more or less, a new neighbor and her grandkids, and had it indeed confirmed that my building manager is staying...and let her know I am glad of it because she's doing a good job. :)
And a couple of kittehs!

Madeline and her only feline friend, Smokey - because he was the only one who didn't beat her up and take her birds when she was on her own. Every other cat she attacks now that she's a big girl.

Plasticerous, in its native habitat - a strawberry pot!.

The Patio -

The Feverfew and Sweet Chocolate Pepper - look at that tiny pepper! And 14+ more to come!

The strawberries - once I got that homemade automatic waterbottle installed properly, they took off

The yarrow and pineapple weed

Out front:
The marigold and the snow peas. The snow peas didn't do well with the excessive rain we had the last couple of weeks, but they're recovering and are starting to produce blooms which of course will become peas. The marigold started producing a bud, but I did the standard practice of pinching off the first blossom to make the plant bush and go overboard with the next blooms.

The basil and borage. As you can see, the basil is darned happy. The borage also did not like the excessive rain, that's the reason for the yellowed leaves. But it did produce a blossom today - instead of the plain white I was expecting, its blue! :)

In the ground:
The onions, single garlic, and chives, overrun by the ivy-thing that I tried to eliminate when I dug the bed. And the Comfrey Monsters! They're taller than me!

And Still Tiny and Cute.
